About
We are a small preservation breeder of Swedish Lapphunds based in New England, USA. We have been involved with the breed since 2018 and cannot imagine living without them. In our home we currently have 1 rescued dog, 2 cats, and 2 Swedish Lapphunds.
Mission
To preserve the Swedish Lapphund breed, produce healthy & balanced examples of the breed, provide breed education, and support the breed goals as set forth by the breed club in Sweden.
Vision
We hope to see a healthy growing population of Swedish Lapphunds within the United States of America. We hope to see all of our puppies live long, healthy lives with their families and be good ambassadors for the breed in all aspects of their lives.
Background
We started out like many in the breed here in the USA, with a wonderful rescue dog that just happened to look like a Swedish Lapphund (i.e. a black fluffy spitz of medium size). Our wonderful boy, Beowulf, might not be a Swedish Lapphund, but he embodies them and has touched the hearts of many.
After years of being heavily involved in rescue, we decided the time was right to change course and began our journey with this magnificent breed. It was a long wait but we welcomed Hersheytoo Arktalas aka "Tala" in late spring of 2019. She immediately hooked us into the breed and there has been no turning back.
